Abigail Calderón knows what it means to live with chronic illness. Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at the age of two, she spent her early life navigating hospital stays, surgeries, and the constant search for answers. That personal journey sparked a lifelong commitment to finding more than symptom management. She wanted true, lasting healing.
Today, Abigail is the founder of SEWA Method, an integrative wellness practice that blends clinical nutrition, traditional herbalism, and trauma informed breathwork. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from NYU, is a Registered Dietitian, a certified breathwork facilitator, and a graduate of the Arborvitae School of Traditional Herbalism.
Her work is grounded in the belief that healing is layered. Addressing only the physical body is not enough. Emotional, energetic, and spiritual health matter too. Clients come to SEWA Method for help with chronic illness, autoimmune conditions, and digestive disorders, but leave with more than symptom relief. They leave with tools for resilience, connection, and empowerment.
Through personalized nutrition plans, custom herbal formulas, and guided breathwork sessions, Abigail creates tailored healing pathways for each client. Whether meeting online or in person in New York City, her approach is warm, attentive, and rooted in lived experience.
If you are ready to reduce inflammation, regulate your nervous system, and reclaim your quality of life, SEWA Method offers a path forward that honors both the science of the body and the wisdom of the soul.
